Our enterprise document management solution offers multi-user functionality, allowing for a complete,
secure, easy-to-use and affordable platform that will make your team more productive and your business more profitable.
Our Enterprise document management solution is shared by users over a network with data stored on a server.
The server runs on any Microsoft platform, as well as on Linux and Novell operating systems.
Our Enterprise Document Management(EDM) is scalable, so you can easily expand the solution to your network as your usage grows.
We have our solution with less than five licenses, while some of our larger clients have hundreds of licenses.
For clients pursuing a more affordable option, we also offer a Small Business version (up to 10 users),
limited to a specific number of workstations. *
Please contact us for more information about this version and for special pricing.
Sybase Advantage Database Server
The EDM incorporates Sybase (a SAP company) Advantage client/server database.
Sybase Advantage has proven itself to be fast and reliable - an excellent choice for any size business,
particularly those without an IT department. Since the database is integrated into the EDM,
a database administrator is not required. Sybase Advantage runs as a service and can be backed up while the database service is running.
Our EDM is fully compliant with Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX), HIPAA, SEC, NASD, Finra, ISO and FDA regulations for document security,
confidentiality, document and record life-cycle retention management and audit trails.
enhanced security allows you to customize permissions for users and groups of users based on your organization's security requirements
and business processes.
Permissions are initially set as a global default at the top level. Enterprise document management administrators can then modify user or group permissions for any level of the Our program:
cabinet, drawer, folder, document or index field.
If a user does not have access to a particular item, it remains invisible. Document/record retention rules can be implemented using automated fields that determine the end date of a document/record life cycle.
Supporting remote users
Onix’s EDM is compatible with Terminal Services, Citrix ®, GoToMyPC ® and other remote access software,
so users can access the Our Library from remote locations via the Internet. Remote Scan ® for Terminal Services or Citrix.
Users can even scan documents from remote locations using a variety of third-party software.
Increasingly, a portion of a company’s staff are using Macintosh ® computers.
We recommend that a Remote Desktop Connection is utilized to support these users.
Macintosh users will have full access to the power of our platform, but do not need to have the software installed directly on their computers.
